2023/2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the MBA programmes at Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration.
Over the years, the School has evolved alongside Hong Kong Metropolitan University in its advancement as a dynamic, full-fledged higher education institution.
Situated in Hong Kong, a global financial hub, the School proactively responds to the changing needs of students, business and society, creating outstanding value and solutions. • Student enrolment has doubled compared to 2022, reflecting our growing popularity and esteemed standing among business professionals and leaders.
• Launch of a dual Master’s degree to expand opportunities
• Our partnership with Toulouse School of Management (TSM) in France enables students to obtain a Master of Business Administration from HKMU along with a Master in International Marketing of Innovation from TSM upon graduation.
• Launch of an international visiting scholar scheme
• Distinguished visiting professors from overseas institutions are invited to deliver special lectures under a new block-teaching schedule. This gives students the opportunity to learn from leading business scholars from around the world.
• Launch of the Global Immersion Programme (GIP)
• GIP provides students with an immersive experience to develop international connections and cultivate a global mindset for success in the business world.
• Launch of MBA (via face-to-face learning)
• The programme is launched in face-to-face mode for the first time. It is tailored for aspiring business executives to cater to their professional development needs, fostering career growth, and facilitating valuable networking opportunities.
• HKMU celebrates the first cohort of graduates from MBA (in Chinese) programme. The programme has achieved great success since its inception in 1997. It is particularly popular among students from mainland China seeking a valuable educational opportunity in the global business hub Hong Kong.
